Watch Hill Beaches

Picture
East Beach - extends from the Watch Hill Lighthouse past the Ocean House Resort Hotel. Public entrance to the beach is located on Bluff Ave at the top of the hill. East Beach is home to the best waves in Watch Hill which can be fun for all! The beach does not have lifeguards on duty, but is patrolled to make sure that guests to the beach are acting responsibly. Alcohol consumption is prohibited on East Beach and is strictly enforced with violators being escorted off the beach and given a fine. Overall, East Beach is best for anyone who wants to play in the sand, take on exciting waves, and have a relaxing day in beautiful Watch Hill!

Napatree Point Beach  - extends two miles to the west, from Watch Hill Beach into Fisher's Island Sound. The beach is a favorite spot for those who docked their boat in the bay and want to spend the day on the beach, and those who walked over from town who would like to do the same. Just like East Beach, Napatree Point Beach does not have life guards on duty but is patrolled to make sure the beach and its guests are respected. Napatree Point Beach is also home to a wildlife refuge that is off limits to the public.

Watch Hill (Carousel) Beach - is the most family-friendly beach in Watch Hill. With just a small fee, you and your family can enjoy the many amenities of the Carousel Beach that includes lockers for rent where you can store your valuables, and lifeguards that will make sure the beach is safe and sound. The beach is located directly to the right of the carousel, so when your fun day on the beach comes to an end, you can take a ride on the carousel before you head home!
